Career Change
Making Transferable Experience Credible in a New Sector
Career changers usually have the capability. What they lack is a document that lets the reader recognise it in their own language.
Begin with the target sector's vocabulary. Read ten postings and note the recurring verbs, metrics and responsibilities, then map your experience to them honestly.
Lead with the bridge. A short positioning paragraph that names the transition and the evidence for it stops the reader from concluding you applied by accident.
Then support it. Projects, certifications and adjacent responsibilities carry more weight than a statement of enthusiasm.
